William F. Badger

He holds an advanced degree in taxation (Master of Laws, LL.M.) from Georgetown University Law Center, where he graduated with distinction and received a Certificate in Estate Planning in 2009.  In 2008, he earned his law degree from the University of South Carolina.  While in law school, he served as a law clerk to South Carolina’s Senate Judiciary Committee.  At Carolina, he served as a staff editor on the South Carolina Journal of International law and Business, and was a member of the Calhoun Inn of Phi Delta Phi, the international legal fraternity.  Mr. Badger majored in Political Science at the University of Richmond, where he earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in 2001.

Mr. Badger was admitted to the State Bar of South Carolina in 2008 and the State Bar of Georgia in 2010.  In addition to his state bar memberships, Mr. Badger is a member of the Augusta Estate Planning Council, the Augusta Bar Association, and the Tax Section of the American Bar Association.

Will is an Augusta native and a resident of Richmond County, where he remains active in a variety of community organizations.  He is a member of the Augusta Kiwanis Club.  Will assists Trinity Hospital’s community outreach by serving as Secretary on Trinity Foundation, Inc.’s Board of Directors.  In addition to assisting Historic Augusta with their annual Loft Tour, he assists local businesses in the revitalization of downtown Augusta by employing state and federal tax incentives for the rehabilitation of historic buildings.  When not practicing law, Will enjoys all outdoor activities.  He holds a professional scuba diving certification and enjoys mountain biking and playing golf. Will is a regular participant in Augusta’s ESI Half Ironman Triathlon.
